RESTAURANT REVIEWS:
We have been customers at The Spice of India for a number of years and still feel it is one of the best indian restaurants around. The customer service is exemplary and the staff are exceptionally friendly. My 7 year old daughter is still to get used to eating Indian food and the chef and staff go out of their way to tailor the menu to give her something that she likes. Our drinks are refilled immediately and the prices are very competitive.
The restaurant used to be a pub so the cellar is excellent for draught drinks. The Kingfisher lager is the best I have ever tasted and my wife says that The Cobra lager is also exceptional. The restaurant has offers on 3 or 4 times a week where a 4 course menu can be enjoyed for £10.
I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough and even though it has recently gone over to new ownership, the standards are still exemplary, the food is still exceptional and the staff still as professional and courteous as ever.
