Kendells Bistro in Leeds is situated opposite the new BBC building and near to West Yorkshire Playhouse is Kendells Bistro serving traditional french food .It is in a prime location ideal for a pre theatre meal or before a night on the town in Leeds.
Expect a relaxed and informal atmosphere with a daily changing menu based on fresh products from France.
If you want to eat French classic bistro food then this is the place for you.Expect dishes like French Onion Soup , Cassoulet,Coq au Vin,French Sausage,Snails.Rib Eye Steaks

The menu appears on large blackboards and gives a choice of about a dozen starters and a similar number of mains.There are also deals on french wines etc.
The restaurant has special deais available on Fridays and Saturdays for pre Theatre diners with 2 courses for £12.95 and 3 for £14.95 if you eat before 7.30am.You can also have 3 courses with a bottle of wine for £21.95
Parking both day and evening is available close to the restaurant and there is a bar with jazz music next to the restaurant.

I went to Kendells last night with my Husband. It had been recommend to us and after reading about it on this site we decided to give it a go. Well so glad we did, what a lovely experience we had.There is nothing to fault this restaurant everything was perfect the food,service and ambiance etc. I too highly recommend this restaurant.

Went without booking and managed to get a table.The menus are on a large blackboard and there is plenty to choose from.My wife however is vegetarian and she thought the choice was a little limited but She was pleased with what she did choose however.I had the slow rosted Belly Pork and it was to die for.The outside was crispy,and the meat was like cutting through butter.Its nice to go to a restaurant where you can see every thing is freshly cooked.Too full for sweets so cannot coment.Front of house was well organised and i could not fault anything about it.We will definitely return.Thanks Yorkshire Food Guide for letting us know about this restaurant.
